Thank you to you, our champions, for helping us be able to support several high school and collage students to successfully pursue a higher education. Here are some quotes the students shared with us this year about the impact of Love My Kids in their journey:
“Knowing that there are many individuals cheering us on serves as a powerful motivator to pursue my aspirations with great dedication. I am immensely grateful to all the champions who have offered their support, and I am committed to proving myself worthy of their help with my future endeavors.“ - Angelica P. “This scholarship has literally made me rethink life and my ability to keep going my roads, knowing that there are people cheering me on, and in time, when I meet my goals, I will be able to give back to the foundation for future students to be able to make their dreams come true, just as mine have.” - Cristian H. “Meeting on zoom with Love My Kids, however varied, has always left me with a warm sensation in my heart, hearing words of encouragement has helped me push through even on my days off. Knowing there is a group of people that are praying for me and believe in me has helped me in days where I feel maybe I don’t belong in some of the classes I am in.” - Eduardo S. “When I doubted myself, this foundation never did and reminded me as to why I should not. What I am doing is not supposed to be easy but it’s my perseverance and effort that is going to help me. As a first- generation college student, I am so grateful to have a support system such as this one.” - Giselle R. “…beyond the financial aid provided by the foundation, it is the emotional support and stability that truly propel me academically. My successes are intertwined with the foundation's support, and I find solace in knowing that there are individuals who celebrate my triumphs, validate my emotions, and assist me in navigating challenges. These experiences have driven me towards positive academic endeavors and significant decisions that have shaped my college life entirely.” - Kyla D. The Love My Kids Board is honored that we can partner together to make a difference in the community and be able to give back to continue Tracy's legacy.
